The school teacher has taught children for 67 years, but himself learned from bees how to live a life.

- Three years ago I learned about the UNDP Office in Ayni looking for experienced bee-keepers in order to develop the filed of honey bee-keeping. I forwarded my application without a moment of hesitation, since I was the disciple of father in this craft as student, and have some experience in this, he says.

For the first year, “Komron” Consultation and Information Center, but by UNDP, provided Bobo Sulaimon with 40 bee-hives, frame,, sugar and blanket and other necessary equipment for multiplying the number of beehives. At the same time, as an experienced person he conducts useful seminars with with the younger bee-keepers. During the last three years, Badalov managed to increase the number of beehives to 60.

- I am grateful to UNDP, we benefited a lot from this project - says Uncle Sulaimon, while going around the rows of boxes with bee-hives to smoke them out.

According to the old man, he collected 500 kg of honey last year, and sent 184 kg to the Center subject to the contract. In its turn, “Komron” Center sold the honey and bought more beehives to distribute among people with interest in honey bee-keeping.

- I have 6 children and 25 grandchildren, - proudly says S. Badalov and adds: - I have lived such a long life, but learned the wisdom of life from the honey bee. Bees always live large families with numerous members in peace and harmony. We have learned form the bees how to live in the society.
