Two Tajik nationals killed in shaurma shop fire in St. Petersburg

DUSHANBE, February 16, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Two Tajik nationals – 21-year-old Ismatullo Ghoziyev from Khatlon’s Vose district and 22-year-old Tolibjon Quvvatov from the Vahdat district – were killed on February 13 as a fire destroyed a shaurma shop in the Lininsky district of St. Petersburg, the Migration Service press center reports.
According to information from the St. Petersburg emergency management agency, the fire was caused by violation of fire safety regulations, the source said.
The bodies of Ismatullo Ghoziyev and Tolibjon Quvvatov were returned to Tajikistan today.
