DUSHANBE, December 12, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Tajik woman and her two underage children have been freed from bondage in Russia.
According to Tajik Migration Service’s office in the Russian Federation, they received an application from Nasrullo Shoyev from the Roudaki district, in which he asked to help his niece Nargis Qodirova out of the complicated situation. “According to him, Nargis Qodirova with her two underage children – a 13-year-old daughter Shirnmoh and an 11-year-old son Rukhangez – arrived in Russia’s Rostov oblast at invitation of her relative who have Russian citizenship. This woman has placed Nargis in job at one of isolated farmsteads,” said the source. “Nargis Qodirova and her underage children had to graze cattle for individual entrepreneur Mousa Magomedov. No labor contracts or agreements have been concluded; Magomedov took their documents and warned that if they do not agree, he will sent Nargi and her children to Dagestan to work off funds spent for their travel to Russia.”
The situation, in which Nargis Qodirova and her children found themselves, may by determined as the limited freedom of movement, the source noted.
After conversation with the entrepreneur, Nargis and her children were freed.
Meanwhile, the Migration Service warns Tajik nationals wanting to leave for Russia for better employment opportunities against applying to doubtful mediators.
