Majlisi Namoyandagon board considers advocacy bill

DUSHANBE, February 6, 2012, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered the draft law on advocacy at a February 6 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the board also considered the draft law on environmental examination and amendments proposed to the countries laws on public purchases and pensions.
These issues will be considered at the next regular sitting of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth that will take place on February 8, Sultonov said.
