Out of four school buildings of secondary school No. 17 in Mastchoh district, the 4th building is especially in poor condition due to lack of renovation. All windows and wooden doors are damaged heavily and walls and floors are rotten because of the high humidity in this area. The newly rehabilitated school facility will ensure the better educational environment for more than 1,020 school students in Mastchoh district.
The Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects (GGP) provides support to projects in the human security sectors at the grassroots level. The GGP is provided to local governments, NGOs, and educational and medical institutions in developing countries. The GGP has extended more than US$ 20.8 million for 280 projects in Tajikistan since 1996.
