Humaniatrian aid worth $34,5mln US dollars was delivered in five months of 2011

DUSHANBE, June 16, 2011, Asia-Plus - In January-March 33 countries provided assistance worth more than $34.5mln USD to Tajikistan, Tajik Statistical Agency under the President’s Office told the AP.
According to the agency, 163 tons of vegetable oil worth $401.000, medicines worth $24.5mln, footwear and clothes worth $1.3mln, foodstuffs, medical and other computer equipment was delivered to Tajikistan in the reporting period.
The agency said that the United States provided 68,6% of the total volume of assistance, Danmark provided 7,1%, Russia – 7%, Netherlands – 2,8%, the Republic of Korea – 2,3%, UAE – 2%, Germany – 1,5%, Kazakhstan – 1,4% and Iran – 1,3%.
