Gazpromneft-Tajikistan presents fuel cards in Sughd province
Urgently
DUSHANBE, December 14, 2011, Asia-Plus -- A single corporate system of payments on accounts for legal entities-customers of Gazpromneft-Tajikistan was presented in Khujand, the capital of the northern Sughd province at the end of last week.
A fuel card will be used as a payment card for gasoline, diesel and other fuels at 19 gas stations of Gazprom Neft in Tajikistan and more than 1,500 gas stations of Gazprom Neft in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, the source said.
The use the fuel card eliminates the need for cash carrying, thus increasing the level of security. The elimination of cash also makes it easier to prevent fraudulent transactions from occurring at a fleet owner or manager’s expense.
Gazprom Neft is reportedly the fifth largest oil producing and refining company in Russia. It's the oil arm of Gazprom, which owns 80% of Gazprom Neft's shares.
Gazprom Neft's central office is located in Moscow; however, the company is already registered in St. Petersburg where it also has an office. Upon the completion of their new office building, known as Gazprom City in St. Petersburg, Gazprom Neft is going to move its headquarters to Saint Petersburg in the near future.
