CEA meets in Moscow to discuss economic cooperation within CIS area

DUSHANBE, January 19, 2012, Asia-Plus – The Commission for Economic Affairs (CEA) at the CIS Economic Council met in Moscow on January 18.
According to the CIS Executive Committee press center, the meeting discussed a broad range of issues related to economic cooperation within the CIS area.
The meeting participants, in particular, considered the CIS business environment survey worked out by the CIS Executive Committee department for economic cooperation and forests of production, export and import of the most important goods by the CIS nations in 2012.
The meeting also discussed proposals on making changes to the agreement on cooperation in timber processing of September 11, 1998.
The next meeting of the Commission for Economic Affairs will take place in Moscow on February 8, 2012, the source said.
