$3.822 mln worth of humanitarian aid delivered to Tajikistan in Jan 2010

DUSHANBE, February 16, 2010, Asia-Plus -- 16 counties of the world provided humanitarian aid to Tajikistan in January 2001, according to the State Committee for Statistics.
During last month, US$307,000 worth wheat, medicines and medical equipment for 971,000 U.S. dollars, US$1.35 million worth of clothes, as well as food products, electrical appliances and computers were delivered to the country.
48.3 percent of the humanitarian aid came from the United States. The main donor in the CIS was the Russian Federation – 2.3 percent.
